Since 2015 Dorthe has facilitated several Erasmus+ funded workshops for international youth in Armenia and Georgia. In Denmark she’s designed concepts and facilitated digital storytelling projects for the municipality of Aarhus and the city archive.
Passionate about Visual Storytelling, Dorthe is drawn to all kinds of visuals, how they tell stories and how they can be used to tell stories. Dorthe especially enjoys using the techniques of analogue photography and in her spare time, she gives introductions to darkroom techniques. She finds other people’s dusty family photos to be pure gold!
Dorthe has previously worked as a photographer and holds an MA in Visual Anthropology with a specialization in ethnographic documentary and sensory media from the University of Manchester. Dorthe is currently on maternity leave until spring 2019.
